Migralert

Migralert is an excellent app for all immigrants, especially those in the Latino community in the United States. Its aim is to help, inform, and give useful tools to people living as migrants in the USA.

With Migralert you can stay current up to the minute of what's happening in your area with the Latino immigrant community, including any possible threats. You, as a user, can send alerts to help other users as well. The alerts go out to everyone within a five-kilometer radius of your location. Likewise, if someone activates an alert within five kilometers of your current position, you'll automatically get notified.

Thanks to geolocation, this app also lets you pinpoint the exact spot where the incident occurred on a map. In these cases you'll need to specify what the report is about – for instance, whether it's a raid or a police checkpoint.

Migralert also has very useful migration information for foreigners living in the United States. It gives quick access to details on where the embassies and consulates of Latin American countries are located in the US, and if you need legal help, Migralert offers info on where to get it in whichever state you're in.
